Sometimes the things that burden us the most are the responsibilities and obligations we have taken on because we were conditioned to believe that we had to. But are they really yours? Society dictates many things, and traditions put many of us on autopilot.
The Ten of Wands asks you to re-evaluate. Did you consent to carrying these burdens? Do you wish to continue carrying them? Are they in service of your own life’s path and your dreams? Are these burdens really yours to carry, or are you carrying them for someone else? Why do they not carry their own burdens for themselves?
In an effort to help we can unwittingly prevent others from growing in the ways that they ought to grow. Challenges make us stronger. We all need our own training ground if we want to be empowered in this world. Be honest about who’s burden is who’s and take a moment to lay down those wands that don’t really belong to you.
I lay down the burdens that are not mine to carry.”
